Hotspot time out ?

Does anyone know if Hotspots connections have a time out ?

Just tried the 10Micron mount configured as a hotspot but the laptop disconnects after 30 minutes or so, the hotspot is still running on the mount and it reconnects with no problem.

Just wondering if it's some sort of Windows security feature ?

It might be a power-saving feature. You could check under power settings

Thanks Michael I thought I'd disabled all the ones I could find but they're pretty sneaky, it may think it's not being used as no traffic passes back and forward unless I slew it from the laptop.

Also, have a look using "device manager" as some devices will have power\sleep settings that aren't normally exposed, especially for network devices.
