Just got back to this forum. Have been a member for a few years, but forgot my password to this site. I just now found it in my dresser. I tend to write down my passwords and forget where I put them. So I have made my passwords the same on all my astronomy sites.

I have one WORD document on one of my home desktops containing all my passwords and "memorable answers" that is protected by one easy-to-remember (for me!) 18-character alpha-numeric password. That has solved a lot of my access problems.

With respect to passwords, I use a unique way

My initials in Uppercase, followed by my car registration number

This give combination of upper and lower case, and alpha and numeral characters

No-one but yourself knows your car registration,  and hard to hack
