Horsehead On the Run

Hi,

We had clear skies up until about midnight last night, so I took the opportunity to see what my camera's performance is like now that it's modded. Unfortunately, our streetlights (which are quite liberally sprinkled over our street, as usual ;)!) kept "transiting" the inside of the telescope, though a 20cm dew shield/baffle has helped with this issue a lot. I don't usually image before midnight, when the lights go off, but the horse would have been too low by then.

9x5min exposures, ISO800

130P-DS & Baader CC
EQ-3, guided with PHD2 and a 50mm finder with ASI webcam
Sensor temp 2C to -8C

Losts of flats, bias, and darks!

John
