M42 Ha. 100D and Star 71

This is 24 X 5 min iso 1600 with 25 X 30 sec for the core, and its still blown! Probably need 10 second subs to avoid blowing the highlights.

The Nebula is framed to the left as I intended to combine with RGB shot with a different scope in 2016 but I've had trouble aligning in PS. Hence the Ha image for now.

Nice image Tim.  I suspect you might need even shorter than 10s @ ISO 1600 for the core.

Try Nebulosity 3 to align your color data to this Ha image....
