What nights are you with us. You staying over for a night for a few swallies or will you have to get the Mrs to drive you back to Portpatrick / Stranraer?

Can't make it unfortunately. Annette's mother is very ill in hospital. We were all set to leave when she suddenly went down hill fast.

Hope we can make it to the spring gathering for a few  ? drams and a chat.

Anyway hope you all have a good night or more.

Hi Folks,

Hope that Annette's mum improves and returns home from hospital soon.

There will be no stargazing tonight because of the drizzle and showers. The wind has got up over the last two hours.

I think the wind speed is between 15 and 20 mph. The temperature is moderate and not as cold as last night.

Tomorrow's forecast is for cloudy skies.

Phil has arrived safe and sound.

I am having an early night.

The fish man arrives at 08:30 am Tuesday morning.

All the best

Adrian

Hi Folks,

Its Tuesday Morning.......

Well, we have just endured a terrible night with gale force winds and some rain.

The BBC Weather did not forecast anything like what we have been through, 2 guy ropes on my scope tent have been simply ripped off.

I have tied them around the poles for now.

I was awake at 02:10 am and again 05:20 am being heavily buffeted by the wind. Had a similar experience at the  recent Star Party on the Isle of Man.

Tent survived both winds and no pegs ripped out of the ground.

The fish man should be along any minute.

Must have breakfast and walk Bud.

All the best for now.

Adrian

Well that's the motor home all packed ready for tomorrow. I should be there about 2pm. Looking forward to a good catch up. I have the whisky packed but will keep it a surprise as to what it is. It's one of my personal favourites.

@Physopto

Just looked back at the 2018 spring party and saw this :-

I was sorry to miss you all, as I was hoping to be across for a visit at least. Just not to be this time. “

Hope this will not become a habit or you will be a Nun!

In the current circumstances I will let you off this time, never again!

Hi Derek,

I don't eat Haggis for breakfast, as the Whiskey sauce that early is not wise.

I don't wear my kilt in very windy conditions as I cannot see where I am going!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got some Haggis from the Meat man this morning for Thursday evening Dinner and will do a Whiskey sauce to go with it.

Shame you cannot come...

All the very best

Adrian

Hi Folks,

The Tuesday Evening Report.....

A little blue sky showing. The prospects to get any viewing done tonight look dim.

The BBC Weather and Scope Nights predicting clouds, but Scope Nights think that there will be partial clouds from 22:00 till 01:00am about an hour ago, but have just changed that to all cloud.....

The wind is still blowing but much reduced from early this morning, forecast to fall to 4mph but with gusts of 22mph in the next 3 hours.

The overcast cloud has been breaking up into individual clouds.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that there may be breaks in the clouds.

All the best.

Adrian

To those travelling tomorrow drive safely.
