Solar binoculars

As solar scopes do not have large diameter lenses, but mainly cost because of Hershel wedge and H alpha stacks, how do solar binoculars compare?

Which solar binoculars give the best, most detailed views?

I think it would be difficult to justify spending on solar binoculars as this point during the solar cycle. Even 10x50 solar binoculars need a pretty big sunspot for a satisfying view. They are good for solar eclipses, particularly partial ones. Finer details really require a mount and by that time a small telescope with a solar filter is a better bet. I converted a 10x50 binocular to use solar filters but wasn't excited by the results.
