Eyepiece for sale

Recommended Posts

Having decided I needed to rationalise my EP collection, the following two EPs are for sale. A hard decision as they are very good eyepieces which  I thought I wouldn't part with but they are now not the best fit  for my needs. The money would be useful for other things too!

1) 20mm ES Maxvision 68 degree in very good condition. A lovely EP, optically impressive and  with a solid nicely engineered feel to it. £50  including signed/tracked p&p.

Maxvision  withdrawn from sale for now pending possible new use.

2) 15mm Vixen SLV 50 degree in very good condition. Again, a very nice EP with a sound well deserved optical reputation. £55.00 including signed/tracked p&p.

Yes, that MV20mm is a great EP for not much money!😊

Resistance is futile! I could do both for a £100!

I've checked the 20mm is too big for my eyepiece carrier, so I'm holding off though someone will get an excellent pair. The 15mm is one too close to my 16mm.

No problem at all, but I'm curious why is the 20mm (1.25") too big for the EP carrier?

Maxvision 20mm withdrawn from sale for now as I may possibly use it with another scope away from home.

Vixen SLV 15mm still for sale.

In the case that you are interested in decloaking yours, here is my decloaked 40mm MV:

And here are other decloaked focal lengths: post-18869-0-84725600-1489514720.jpg

Looking at the eyecup design, I think every MV can be decloaked, independently of the eyepiece focal length.

Best wishes,

Piero

Thanks Piero I don't have any problem using the Maxvision but confess the decloaked does give it a new slim line look. Does the lack of an eye-cup create any issues?
