Just for anyone who can get to Leeds. Astromeet is on Saturday November 15th at Leeds university.

Think astrofest but smaller and much more friendly!

I really enjoyed last year and will be going again this year!

Hi man.

I live in Leeds and have been thinkning about joining the Leeds society for a while now, and might head down next week. The Astromeet looks pretty interesting, and if I can somehow get the day off work I'll be there.

If you can get there, its well worth it. There is a £ 10 entry fee (free parking though) but it is worth it.

The talks last year were great.

I don't live in Leeds myself so I'm not a member of Leeds AS but they were really friendly (certainly more friendly than my local society were when I went to one of their meetings!

There are also trade stands selling astro gear, books and other stuff.
