Revolution Imager R2

I thought interested peeps might like a look at my set-up for this (relatively) new toy - I realise that it is not anywhere near the same quality of image as 'proper' AP (of which I am also a mega-fan and have some decent kit), but that's not the point - I have an 8 year old son, and he struggles to 'see' anything meaningful through the eyepiece, but with this? Well, the Orion Nebula/M13/Andromeda Galaxy/Double stars? Big and bright on the 7" screen and it has got him hooked!

I am using the following:-

- Explore Scientific Comet Hunter Mak-Newt

- Celestron AVX mount

- Celestron Star-Sense

- Celestron GPS

- Celestron Star Portal (Wi-Fi connectivity to the AVX)

- Revolution Imager R2

- Revolution Imager R2 Wireless Sender (images to the iPad in the house)

I have tidies it up as much as possible so now I only have 2 connections for power, the first for the mount, the other for the Revolution Imager and two connections to the R2 camera piece of cake

I haven't quite sorted capturing the images yet, but as soon as I do I will post some examples
