Recommended Posts

From the friday night at Kelling. False colour heart of the Pacman Nebula shot in Ha, OIII and Hb and transposed to RGB. Imaging scope WO FLT110 and Atik 314L camera, guided using Phd through WO Megrez 72 and Mede DSI II Pro. Astronomik 13nm filters used housed in a True Technology motorised filter wheel. 1 hour Ha data gathered using 5 minute subs, OII and Hb 30 minutes in 5 minute subs, stacked in DSS and processed in PS CS.

Enjoyed capturing this one in the heavy due. Limited OIII and Hb data due to fog patches drifting through.

Please enjoy

I remember all being peace and tranquility at your station whilst everyone else was running into all sorts of technical and dew problems Steve. Whilst we all fussed with wires, connections, hair dryers and software you captured this beautiful image. The narrow band has clearly brought out the OIII and Ha areas.
