M51 from last night

I don't get many chances to image this one from my garden - its either hidden by a tree or dipping down below the roofline too early in the evening. Last night gave me an hour of opportunity so I took it. Here's the result.

Taken with the 350D with a 2X teleconverter, 20 subs of 2 minutes, unguided.

Stacked in DSS with further processing in Paintshop pro.

Thanks. That was the hardest part of the processing - getting the colour out while keeping the noise to an acceptable limit.
