ZWO 8 position filter wheel

Has anyone got any experience of the ZWO 8 position filter wheel and the Starlight Xpress 7 position. I'm looking to move up from my Xagyl 5 position wheel.

I've got the ZWO 8 position one and it's quite good. Never had any issues with it.

I have the SX filter wheel, and also never had any issues, the only thing I will say is that the ZWO is about 400g but the SX is about 600g  so a lot heavier, if that makes a difference to your set up....

Found the ZWO x8EFW to be excellent.

I also have the ZWO 8way, no real issues, just need to note down which filters you have fitted into which 'slot'.

One thing to note, to avoid vignetting you need to mount the camera as close as possible to the wheel, i.e. screwed directly to it. 

I also have the ZWO OAG, and to ensure that everything lines up (oag pick-off in line with camera sensor etc.), I purchased some metal spacers (0.2mm, 0.25mm & 0.3mm), as the plastic ones supplied can compress.

I got the ZWO 8 filter wheel towards the end of last year - what can I say, it was simply a case of fit and forget - it just works.

Thanks for all your replies. That's really helpful. I 'm grateful for the tip about vignetting.

I'll decided on the ZWO because of the 8th filter slot so I'll order up from FLO in the morninig.
