Hello, I have enjoyed astronomy for the past 20 years or so and always have been curious about the sky. I have a CR6 a Meade SCT 10" and another Celestron SCT 5", my favorite is my inexpensive (relatively) refractor, I find the views most satisfying CA does not bother me because my vision is poor but with averted vision it is no problem. I presently live around San Francisco although I am from the country just on the other side of "la Manche" or the English Chanel.

I have to add that I have been a member for several years, but only very recently decided to participate.

If you pronounce fast the 3 letters VNA you pronounce my name which is Vianney--not a very common French first name.

Bonjour! I made the journey the other way round, from my anglophone birth to my francophone present in the Hautes Alpes. You don't have to go far from SF to get some wonderful dark, clear skies.
