IC 405 HARGB

Hi All,

IC 405 - 20 x 10 mins RGB, 10 x 20 min Ha. 

I'd like to remove stars to allow the nebulosity through. Try as I might I am struggling to do this without detriment to the image. Any help appreciated.

I usually duplicate the image early on after a slight crop, gradient and light pollution removal. Remove the stars from the original and process. It'll look like a complete mess but then when you paste the duplicate image on top of it with a lighten blend it covers all the messy bits and you don't have over processed stars.

That's just what I do though. There may be better ways.
