Heres a few of mine to get us started.

2017 was a big year for me, I got my quark in feb and have had a great time using it, it was a real eye opener.

hope you all had a great year, my score was 222 imaging days.

thanks John. those are some amazing full discs mate, well done. I must try harder with colour, I never seam to get it right, usally turning out the wrong shade.

Fantastic images.... I don't know what more impressive.. those images or the fact that you had 222 imaging day in the year... that is an astounding statistic. well done.

I think I know the date of the one that you couldn't remember... OCTOBER 25, 2017.

How did I remember it?  Read the text that I added to the same prom shot, and it will explain it.  It's weird how we solar imagers remember such things.

thanks MG, your so very kind mate. 222, at the beginning of 2017 I didn't think Id hit 100 with the weather, I was chasing 238 from 2016  so ended up 18 behind so I'm very happy. clear skys. charl.

Everything shot with 90 mm refractor + Lunt 50 etalon.

Smoky prominences (~1 h total):

M5.3-class flare on 4/02 (0:46 h total):

AR 2661 on fast-forward (5 hours with 5-minute intervals), with a minor C2.1-class flare. Solar rotation clearly visible:
