I Managed to bag jupiter this morning. Finished a night shift at 5 and was amazed when i got home and it was completly clear. Took my little nexstar80gt out and had a look at jupiter. Could see some nice banding with my 5mm x-cel, but didn't leave my scope long enough to cool. The sun would be up before my little f5 gets to ambient! A combination of a hot scope and fair to bad air currents means the jovian was swimming and dancing in my eyepiece, but even so a sight to behold!

Well Done Gorden :laugh:

Just got in ready for Bed now :shock: got an excellent 3hrs or so Observing and Imaging, Jupiter was nice tonight here and everything else i looked at Superb Conditions for around these parts.
