My new frac - think I just got the deal of the century!

Recommended Posts

After finding a pair of Equinoxes for sale last week for a VERY reasonable price, I went along to collect the 120 today.

It's in excellent condition and upon opening the case I found a 2" Televue everbrite diagonal included. When I got home I then noticed the scope was fitted with a William Optics dovetail plate.

Quite a haul for £500 :) Suffice to say I'm a happy chappy today.

Some other lucky stargeezer got the Equinox 100 for £450.

Just finished late lunch! Your icing on the cake was the TV Everbrite 2 inch diagonal!

I'm well pleased with my 100mm, but have definitely learned its too large & awkward for public transport! 127 Mak must be the best reasonable aperture not-too-expensive travel scope.
