Startrails at a ruined castle

Recommended Posts

Startrails at Edlingham castle, a fortified Manor House dating manly from the 16th century. Located to the west of Alnwick Northumberland.  Approx 2 hours of 30 second exposures were processed with startrails.de and gimp2.8.  Camera used was a canon 1100d, samyang 14mm lens and manfrotto tripod.

No just for the first shot, I then used software gimp2.8 to blend me in, I was in the car keeping warm for 2 hours.

What's that blotch..!.. ;-) like the architectural fore ground sets the trails off nicely.

Thanks haha. I have 2 more versions without me in them, but the rules say you can’t submit different versions of the same picture
