4 hours 40 minutes of HA on the Horse Head Nebula

i believe this is my longest ever total integration time, 28 x 10 minutes worth of HA subs, taken with my William optics gt81, Atik 460 mono and a 5nm Astrodon filter.

Superb image - one of my favourite targets in the winter sky - the detail you have captured  is amazing - all that integration time has really paid off - great contrast and on my iPhone looks like you have a very clean image. You must be very pleased with this one

i think it`s my best effort so far, Startools has certainly helped, especially with the noise, it does a great job of controlling it.

That's a 'keeper' alright - very nice indeed with plenty of foreground detail too.

A very pleasing image. The HA monochrome is particularly effective for this target.  Lots of detail too when zooming in.
