Eastern Veil (an experiment)

I had a go at imaging through the ST80 last night for the first time. I wasn't sure what the quality would be like, for a cheap scope, and was pleasently surprised. It is only 5 x 180s as it started to get a bit misty.

I've posted this for the benefit of those who also have an ST80 but have yet to try and image through it. I also had a go at a 2 frame mosiac of M31, but I'll keep that one to myself

As an aside, isn't EQmod great? Now that I have got the hang of using it, it puts the object on the chip every time.

Imaging scope: ST80

Camera: Atik 16ic-s

Guide scope: Explorer 200

Guide camera: SPC900NC

Guide s/w: PHD

Subs: 5 x 180s

Processed: PS2 CS

I've taken some deep sky through the Helios Startravel 80 (same scope). My workflow wasn't all that last year; so with darks and flats sortet out the result could have been real great.
