Kaliska
I've just been looking through some recent images and marveling at how my stars look egg-shaped close up (Grrr) and spotted this. I presume its a dead pixel? Is it anything to really worry about?
steppenwolf
That is what is known as a 'hot' pixel - dead pixels tend towards black.

richyrich_one
This might help. Personally, they don't bother me, and everything bothers me! https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/34453855

It is likely that it will always be there BUT using the correct processing algorithm when you stack your images will mean that they are removed from your final image. Uranium235
Its nothing a healing brush cant sort out Dead pixels are just that - dead, they would be black. My 383 has a small column of dead pixels, but in the grand scheme of a 9mp sensor its nothing really, and can be stacked out with enough subs.
