Yes Chris, I´m pretty sure all the cops in all pre-posts here did their job. I know some (German) officers private (friends) so I know they do, and it´s not an easy job.

However, your situation was one of the most "rough" ones acccording to menpower and used weapons (I´m sure these armed response guy´s where hard armed) and used support tools (helicopter).

But the cherry on the pie for me was the officers question about AstroLOGY. Haha. that made my day!
