What did the postman bring?

A nice little AZGTiX mount. I’ve managed to adjust it so the saddles are parallel (not perpendicular as it is by default to allow use of the L Bracket.

Sits nicely either on the supplied short pillar or the AZGTi pillar.

Is this for the 76DCU?

Could be, but I’d like to try it with my PST mod and Tak as a more lightweight solar tracking solution. It would be under the weight limit but the mod is quite long so will be interesting to see if it copes ok. Useful for side by side for a number of scopes though.

PST is probably my next big Astro purchase so will be interesting to hear how it works out. If the Tak does work well with it would also be very interested to hear. A light go-to mount would be a pretty cool addition.

Not exactly what the postman brought but a sealing of the deal of an “on loan” 2” OVL Panaview 32mm. Thanks to @paulastro for this, it’s a good performer on my 8” SL Dob - improving on the already high quality supplied SL 30mm Superview.

Rather excitingly these very nice Baader MaxBright IIs showed up today. The result of a cunning series of transactions which got @HollyHound some adaptors and bits that he wanted, and me a pair of as new Maxbrights for a nice price 👍. I kept missing them when they came back into stock, so this was a great option. The added bonus was that Mum and Dad agreed to buy them for my birthday 🎂🎉👍.

Stu. Superb piece of kit. I’ve had mine a while. Pretty soon after they were available first time around.
Can’t praise them enuf. Love the individual eyepiece adjustments. Helps even after you think you’re already at a great place, focus wise.
Enjoy.  John

I got this from eBay today, but not from the usual sellers. It was for my Sky-Watcher Evostar 120 achromatic refractor.

It's going back as it's faulty. There was no clear plastic film between the battery and the cover, suggesting it's not new. The on/off dimmer switch was flaky and it was difficult to adjust and wouldn't stay tuned.  It wasn't the cheapest either. ☹️

This is my 4th RDF, so I think I should know if I have a good one or not... 🙄

Well the postman bought them but I'm guessing a few weeks ago but didn't get them till my birthday yesterday. Been spoilt as usual, lol. Lot's of Astro stuff along with a lovely chess set, didn't expect that. English against n the Scots, lol.

These all arrived last week, courtesy of @bosun21, all safely packed and in superb condition, thank you 😃

Baader SkySurfer V

Baader T2 Prism Diagonal

Baader GPCs 2.6x and 1.7x for my newly arrived MaxBright II binoviewers

Baader Heavy Duty T2 Quick Changer

As @Stu has already posted, after waiting almost two years for MaxBright II to come back into stock, I jumped on one from FLO and then another in the sales corner, including all these bits (except the SkySurfer). Whilst it would have been amazing to have two pairs of binoviewers, it seemed extravagant and as Stu just missed out on that pair, it made sense to move one set on… everyone’s happy 😃and my office is less cluttered 🤣

Just need some clear skies again now 🤞
