Just a second Lithium LT as I was fed up with swapping my existing one scope to scope. Great little power packs

And brilliant on camping trips for phone charging I’ve found! 👍

When I manage to get a picture, I tend to share them with family; Today this surprise turned up from the sister-in-law.....

M81, looks better on the cushion than on the laptop :D

Small VESA mount for my nuc.  Stripped it down and enlarged the hole so now the nuc can go at the end of my counterweight shaft lol.  Can also go back on a bit more of the bracket and get screwed onto the vixen bar with a little spacer.

Postie brough me this new toy, courtesy of @Jim Smith. Looks in lovely condition and nicely packed. Thanks Jim!

Looking forward to trying this out on the moon as soon as I get chance. It will be nice to give my non-dominant eye a piece of the action for a change.

A lovely Berlebach Planet to replace my UNI 18.  This will complement my pier in handling my larger refractors, and give me options .

I have one. It's a very fine piece of kit indeed.

So , for once I’ve not had to go and collect anything , and the postman duly delivered. An AZ-GTi with two extension columns and the obligatory tripod .. one of the columns and the tripod will be going up for sale as I have a steel tripod .
Many thanks to Jim  on speedy turnaround .. the mount seems to work great , but of course it’s cloudy 🌥

Bought mainly for visual use but the firmware is updated into EQ Mode , which gives the option to use Alt Az mode.
hmmm , maybe a wedge and another Astro cam ?

Well I can’t think of better timing than this being delivered today - you couldn’t have planned it better @FLO given the hottest day of the year so far - all I needed was a fan! (And a cold beer maybe👍!)

Have just just switched it on, by any chance?

Breeze has turned mightily warm here in Cheshire

After a few years of imaging I decided to take a little dip into bino viewing with the possibility of getting some eye pieces for my scopes and after checking reviews on here these beginner cheapies seemed to be best buck for your dollar. Had a look through and they seem sharp to me! FLO great as usual with me a day later and clear night tonight will be binning the “may contain clouds” sticker 😂 the gin well as it’s Friday!

Tripod + mount + counterweight was a bit too heavy for comfort in one bag for my “portable” setup so when I saw this it made sense. Had assumed it would be padded but a couple of bits of packing foam fettled to fit should be adequate. It’s really a nice red!

Redcat51 v2 arrived yesterday. What a beauty!

Great for imaging the sparrows in the garden with the Canon R6, incredible quality!  Can't wait to aim it at the cosmos

Wheres the sparrow images then ? 🙂
I keep wanting one of these for a widefield setup but would need to sell something I think to justify another major purchase at this stage.

I don't need persuading 🙂 I know I want one, just the money.
But I am sure if I just have a clean out I can get a good portion of the funds so definitely something that will happen (I hope).

Fantastic image , which camera was that with ?
