Will people stop buying stuff, the weather is awful, 🌧️🌧️

I will see if I can reverse this by buying some expensive waterproof clothing and a posh umbrella! 😊

I've had an open order since April of this year. Once it's been fulfilled, I'm hoping Michael Fish will be back on the telly to explain that there isn't a hurricane on the way... Sorry in advance :)

For goodness sake Neil. Will people not learn, lol 🤔

It's a spiral of despair ... buy astro kit, clouds arrive, can't go out observing , browse astro kit online instead, see shiny thing, buy astro kit .... repeat until exhausted and/or exasperated ...

Received today, a pre-loved 'frac.

I had a theory that it was only new purchases that affected the weather adversely.

Before the delivery, CO was forecasting a clear night; I just refreshed the page:

Postie was banging on the door and brought me an SvBony 3x Achro Barlow £45 from a well known river. Looks fine visually in daylight through the ED80.

And the sky is still cloudless and blue!  😁

Forecast earlier was ok for early evening, now the cloud has appeared, and the sky is gone 🤔

Postie Pete's colleague came a calling yesterday, while I was out having 'fun' at the Dentist.
So only open and pictured today.

My 80mm f6 Camper Van scope and perhaps more, depends how we get on.
Of course it will need a Camper Van mount and tripod, but don't tell Mrs W. that just yet!

I have the 102XS. I love it. The finder scope is terrible though.

Co-incidentally, I'm just looking for the cheapest way to let me use my Synta-fit finders on the Bresser.

I’ve used this base on a bresser mak and a bresser 127. Was a direct replacement using the stock screws.

Bingo. That looks ideal - and there was no problem with the existing screws not being square to the shoe base (because of the OTA curvature) ?

Didn’t have any problem re-fitting the screws with the new shoe. BTW a stock SW shoe mounting holes aren’t far enough to fit hence the slotted Amazon one which gives more adjustment.
