I would personally start with a 50 mm

Interesting take, what would be your reasoning? It would be purely for wide visual use to compliment my 10" dob.

My very first refractor, the new WO FLT 91, this is going to be my imaging telescope when I can get my hands on a Skywatcher mount.

Thank you FLO, I love it Mr Bresser Messier was just delivered now.

Just arrived and amazingly well packed... triple boxed, with spacers 😮 Nestled inside was a gorgeous Takahashi FC76-DCU 😃 I can’t believe how light it is compared to the StellaMira 80mm, and

Yes of course... working at the same time = not paying enough attention. It's been a long week, I'll get my coat 😂

So, just opened these for the 1st time:

  • ASI294MC-cool,
  • ASI74mm,
  • ASI Miniguide scope,
  • ASI EAF and finally,
  • ASIAir-Pro

Mounted onto my Skywatcher Equinox ED80 Pro APO with Skywatcher 0.85 FF/FR

The focuser adapter required a couple of M3 x 10mm hex head replacement bolts, not a perfect fit but does feel secure.

Hello.  DHL geezer late this afternoon. The return of my AZ100 with encoders fitted and a Nexus DSC unit. Sent it off last Friday.  Cracking turnaround by the guys at Rowan.

Bum bag indeed... It's a Tactical Compact Water-Splash Resistant Multi-Purpose EDC Utility Pouch! 😉

I still have a couple of flag shoulder patches kept for posterity, but they're a bit small for a statement piece... 🙄

Nothing very exciting or expensive today... A water resistant molle pouch for the Talentcell battery powering the AZGTI and a Union Jack to attach.

Arrived today from a fellow forum member, and in superb condition, thank you 👍

TV Nagler 3-6mm Zoom 😃

I had one of these last summer, then sold it, as most of it was too much mag for my StellaMira 80mm f/10 and way too much for the C5 or Mak at the time.

However, i figure that as a true grab and go setup this would go very nicely with a lightweight 76mm f/7.5 scope, giving 95x to 190x, much more appropriate... fortunately such a scope is on its way 😃

Thanks... That’s what I hoped, it does seem to have a good range of magnification for this scope. I’ve also confirmed that both my Panoptic 24mm and 15mm are parfocal with the zoom. This is useful, as I understand the focuser has quite limited travel and so better to have eyepieces that are close to each other 👍

No problem,

inside of a week, I’ll admit I was a little nervous but can’t fault the communications and the service.

gives me confidence for any gear at a higher price.

Funny, I just had delivered two of these on Thursday, for attachment to my photography backpack as a means of carrying water bottles while hiking.

Wanted something to hold a star chart or tablet and I stumbled across this post for star chart stands. £14 from Amazon and it's actually ok. If it works in reality not sure. If not i can always take up the recorder.

I use a standard music stand for this purpose, very similar to this item.
