Be good to hear how you compare the 18mm to the 15mm in the 200p

👍

Only if the weather permits!🙄

Well, UPS from Germany 🙂 Bought this easy-assemble Vasagle 'industrial' side table. It was intended as a 3d printer stand as it's solid and rigid and should hopefully make printing more consistent:

It's a good fit! Just needed a little something under one leg to make it steady 🙂

A member on here made this for me I can't thank him enough.

I bought a eq6 tripod which I still think isn't one came with no centre bolt and with me using a adapter to fit my EQ5 mount the centre bolt needed to be made.

External pressure tuner.
My main gripe with my Lunt was finding the sweet spot using the stiff pressure tuner knob whilst trying to see the computer screen at the same time. This should eliminate this issue plus it allow me to initiate and control solar imaging sessions remotely when at work.

Probably wouldn’t help then by saying that the two nights I used my new 24mm Panoptic last week, I had some of the best wide views in both my Mak 127 and StellaMira 👍😬

Postie sneaked in undercover this morning, no knock on the door, just left in a pile on the step!

A rather pleasing eye cup, Japan made, fits the Ultima sized ep.
and a trial EP, a used APM UFF 18mm both from the bay.

Now here’s a seemingly odd purchase for astro... a small mesh desk pen pot 🤔

However, when I have my Mak or C5 pointing downwards to cool with the visual back open for an hour, this will sit over the end and (hopefully) keep any small insects out (we live on a dairy farm!) 👍

I’m sure there are other solutions, but this was £1.99 on Amazon and should do the job.

Great purchase the 8mm bst. Its my favourite in the range. (don't tell the other bsts I said that) it gives a very nice magnification in my 200p x150. It has also been very good in the 300p giving x187. Both of these powers seem to hit a nice sweet spot and produce a great image on all objects.

I don't think you will be disappointed with the purchase! Look forward to hear your thoughts on the 8mm over the stock 10mm

Baz

I Went for the 8mm as the 12mm was going to take 40-60days (However they are back in stock now - typical), but as I had the 10mm cheap kit lens the 8mm made sense. Can't wait to use it. 12mm purchase next month and then a 25mm I think

It works great on my Sky-Watcher 200P.  Even on the 20 year old Meade 114-900, it works a treat!

If its great on your SW 200p I assume it will be great on the heritage 150p 🙂

i just use a laptop next to the scope when imaging so camera appears on the laptop on liveview.

Finally a larger flatfield panel that will work with my WO ZS103. This one is the D160 12V one from Gerd Neumann and came this morning from 365 Astronomy along with a 400mm Dew strap.

I already have the D100 12V one but it was just a touch too small for the ZS103 so I use it on the WOZS73 and smaller scopes. No Tee shirt or iPad method for me.

Also a case of unoaked Chardonnay from South West Australia.
