K

Appears that these TS optics fracs should come with a warning ⚠️ that you will never see clear skies again! Make a great ornament though 😂

After a few days in quarantine (are you guys doing this as well?) I unpacked a little package.

Inside:

Old hack:

New:

Just to add. Weight saving in comparison to Tak tube holder + ADM Losmandy bar is almost 400g. Pretty good.

An early Fathers' Day gift from my kids 😎..

I owned a new Morpheus 17.5mm soon after their launch, having previously owned a 14mm which was excellent.. sadly, enforced early retirement necessitated my letting some kit go, but I always said the first eyepiece I would replace when circumstances allowed would be the Morph 17.5mm.

This one arrived with Royal Mail today..

Optically one of the 3 best eyepieces I've ever owned - and the most comfortable..👍:hello2:

I was the chap who bought your first 17.5mm. It, and a Vixen LVW 22mm remain my favourite EP's.

Cheers Steve.

The LVW 22mm is also one of my top 3..the third one, for the record is the Pentax  XW10mm/XL10.5mm (ok, that's 4 in total really!😂).

Yes I do exactly the same, The shopping gets all wiped down with Isopropyl before it goes in the fridge. All the fruit and veg washed with soap and water. Packaging left for 72 hours 🙂

ZWO ASI2600MC to put on the Sharpstar 150HNT, a few adapters supplied but none that add up to the right size which is a bit strange given that its a colour camera and the standard 55mm is needed for the scope, the supplied ones seem to add up to 55ish if you add a T ring :icon_scratch: will have to file a couple of millimetres off the supplied 21mm adapter to get some adjustment on the VariLock, will double check measurements before filing 😂

Couldn't photograph other end of box as it kept wanting to scan the Q code

And a prize to anyone that can read the manual without a magnifying glass

I have just got this out of self imposed isolation, after receiving the other day. ( Glad to know I am not the only one doing this! ) Perhaps not the best eyepiece out there, but the 10 mm is very good in my opinion, so I am hoping for similar quality with this one.

Now all I need is the clouds to co operate, and then decide if I can justify a similar sized Morpheus... :rolleyes2:

This is an eyepiece that is just phenomenal. I use it as a finder and barlow it to 8mm sometimes. I have yet to look through something better in the 15-20mm range. I don't know what Baader did here but this eyepiece is out of this world for all my scopes.

That should have been sent in a padded envelope!🙄

After a couple of months of wanted ads and scanning the classifieds, this baby came up!

This joins the 8mm Delos and a 24mm 82° ES to complete my “minimalist” eyepiece collection.

I would be interested to know your findings, perhaps you could kindly give us a review when the clouds part 🙂

I recently received two plastic bottles with spray heads in  Jiffy bag, both with tops snapped of so a big box would have been nice 😁

There seems to be no consistency in the way Amazon packages are packed.

At least it's the correct item. Expecting a hand tapping set today to do a focuser upgrade, I instead received an embroidery kit! 🙄

At least you will have something to keep you occupied on cloudy nights, 😁😁😁

Business opportunity; eyepiece socks with focal length...…….. in gold lame, especially if one is lucky enough to own televue or pentax glasses. Stop press, SWMBO has asked is it a hand or machine embroidery kit?

A hand kit.. some sort of chinese pattern. I didn't look too hard before stuffing it back into the packaging, flabbergasted!
