Until I can afford an ES or Masuyama 3 inch fit ep, and the focuser to take them :)

I saw a 3" fit ES at Telescope House a few weeks ago,
I popped in as was passing, it was huge, the EP that is.
You will need to pump iron to look like Arnie before you buy one :wink2:

Just got some new binoviewers from FLO that I'm hoping to try out.

It's what wasn't in the box that's got me confused?

Oh well you win some, you ....win some?:confused1:

Geoptik bag to put the 120 Equinox in as the SW case it came in is coming apart.

I bought the size for the 6 inch 1200mm refractors, a bit oversize, but other stuff will fit in too like dovetail and rings and things.

It should be interesting - I'm a pretty dedicated 24 Panoptic user. I already like the LVW's big eye lens. :happy11:

JMI Motofocus for my 6SE. I was going with a feathertouch but the JMI looks more convenient, cheaper, and gives the option for auto-focus using FCUSB.

Hi. JMI Motorfocuser  is  a nice bit of kit. Had one on my C 9.25.

Moved it on as looked to add a Moonlite to the scope.

Sure you will enjoy.

Regards. John

If it works then it looks a no-brainer... having to touch the scope to focus is a right so-and-so :-( Obviously a more robust mount would help as well ;-)

Nice purchase Mike!

I have the 42mm and works well with the Tak, when focus is obtained at 50% from the edge. Very comfortable eyepiece for scanning the sky. :)

Love my Vixens. NPL for me. One of these yrs ill upgrade and buy a low, medium and high mag of the top range. Hope your new Vixen performs as well as it should.

NPLs are cracking eyepieces for the money IMO?. What you gain with LVWs is build and wider fov, but on axis there is very little to choose☺.

The SLV range is in-between, highly recommended.

My long awaited Sky Atlas 2000.0 bought from Sky Publishing in the US.

2nd edition 2016 includes more stars than the original 1981 as Hipparcos mapped stars have been added, so up to date.

This is black sky white stars & laminated. Shiny but strong. I have a loose leaf same colour scheme first edition for holding individual pages.

The whole volume is heavy foolscap size. A transparency overlay with grids and a Telrad circle is included, same as the desk/deluxe version but white lines.

The way to use it is back lighting, shining a red torch behind the page you are looking at to make the stars & symbols stand out.
