Stacking Moon Stills?

I took a few shots of the Moon with a static tripod so the Moon isn't in quite the same place in each pic. How do I stack the images? I tried the various options from this site but none worked.

Try Pipp to create movie out of images, it has option to roughly align frames (this is needed for later stacking).

The load movie into AS3 and process as planetary movie.

You can also add one image at a time to AS3 and it can also do rough alignment of frames prior to stacking.

After you stack with AS3 - just save for further processing (like Registax wavelets, or PS, or whatever)

Sorry I haven't replied to this. I've not been on for a few weeks. Thanks for your advice. I'll give it a go. It's a shame there isn't software to do RAW stacking.

The later versions of Photoshop can and that is all I ever use... I do however only stack around 4-5 images.

I've tried PS for stacking and it never works, whatever settings I choose. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong!

I actually got PS to stack! Then I was told how to stack TIFFs in PIPP by Chris (Author?). It's all fine now. Many thanks.
