Waxing Gibbous 93% Dec 1, 2017

Recommended Posts

Good day all, still working on fine tuning my set up.

Attached is aggressive (first) and soft (last) processing.

End image is with a focal reducer, no filter, which resulted in more aggressive processing to bring out details.

I was very impressed with the Baader 685 IR pass filter.

Comments welcome. Thanks for looking/reading and clear skies.

great shots Tyson, lovely detail mate. I go for the less glass the better but I have been known to use a ir filter when its been really fazey to help tidy the photons up. well done. charl.

I was not happy with the noise in the top two, and bottom 2 are too soft.

Instead of ImPPG, I used RS6 for lunar and it works better for me.
