Waxing Gibbous 93% Dec 1, 2017

Recommended Posts

Good day all, still working on fine tuning my set up.

Attached is aggressive (first) and soft (last) processing.

End image is with a focal reducer, no filter, which resulted in more aggressive processing to bring out details.

I was very impressed with the Baader 685 IR pass filter.

Comments welcome. Thanks for looking/reading and clear skies.

great shots Tyson, lovely detail mate. I go for the less glass the better but I have been known to use a ir filter when its been really fazey to help tidy the photons up. well done. charl.

I was not happy with the noise in the top two, and bottom 2 are too soft.

Instead of ImPPG, I used RS6 for lunar and it works better for me.

Hello guys as you see i am new in the forums and im starting my stargazing adventure.I want to use my telescope as an astronomical and a terrestrial telescope so preferably a mak or a refractor. My budget is 450 dollars for both telescope and tripod.

nice and sunny here again in south wales, seeings ok but not the best but it could be due to thermals rising up the side of my house, its very warm today.
