Really interesting to watch that enormous filament round the limb, and get to see some side profile views of the prominence.

Sunny here today, so grabbed 5mins at lunchtime.  Way more detailed and beautiful at the EP - camera phone doesn't do it justice at all (hey this ain't the Imaging section! )

Worth a look if you can!

great phone pic Niallk, got a few shots myself earlier, the proms do look better in the vis, the eye has a lot more processing power than any cam .well done. charl.
