1st Solar images for a month!

A combination of the time of the year, other commitments and the lousy weather means these are the 1st Solar images for a month!

A failed mosaic and a close of the large filament are all I managed before the conifers intervened. The mosaic just wouldn't stitch whatever I tried!

The usual set up, Lunt50, DMK21au618. It is a lovely looking filament though and there was quite a few other smaller ones scattered across the disc as well.

Nicely done Pete, glad you got some. Can't remember when I last viewed or imaged Sol!

edit. Quick check of the archive tells me it was a month ago on 25th October! I might have a go at it tomorrow.

That filament is tantalizing.  I just can't get the weather right to shoot it... Good job, mate.
