Double Cluster

Imaging drought finally ended Saturday night. Before the moon came up a grabbed a quick double cluster 30x80 secs. Spent most of the night on the heart neb. Still got to process that but I've got a horrible feeling I was out with the focus.

This is with an ED80 with WO 0.8 type III reducer/flattener and QHY 8. The image is cropped a little cos that's how I thought the framing looked best.

I like the warm colours of some of the stars in this cluster. One of my favourite visual objects, one of those that looks better through the scope.

I bet that was a relief to get out at last. You've captured the colour really well and it is a real Jewel in the eyepiece as you say

I have just seen the weather forecast for next weekend another marathon on the cards..... better start workign up the target list .. any suggestions for a 4x2 degree fov target most welcome
