Dug out some older observations of these two:

NGC 1528 (61 H.VII) 30/11/2013 12" Newtonian, x150 - A large, loose cluster of well scattered stars. The magnitudes of the stars vary. The brightest stars are about 9th mag. but the cluster contains many fainter ones. The brighter stars are mostly on the west side of the cluster. It is not very well detached from the background and not compressed.

NGC 1545 (85 H.VIII) 30/11/2013 12" Newtonian, x150 - This is a cluster? Very poor, being totally dominated by a triangle of bright stars, the brightest of which (SAO 24556, mag 7.1, spec K5) is distinctly yellow. I counted 30 – 35 faint stars scattered across the 20’ field. There is no detachment from the background.

No 'Disco Dancing Dad' for me, Nick!
