Cloud Filter anyone???

What clear skies???

A week of planning for my first observing night in 2 weeks and reported cloudless cold night skies all night only to be ruined by a surprise blanket of white!!! I'm hitting Netflix for a couple of hours but I'm not hopeful.

You can always do Radio astronomy or Meteor detection

Guess they were the same clouds as hit me at about 21:00 when everything said it was to be clear. They seemed to amble in from the North so would have got to you about an hour or two later. Annoying little whatsits (well big fluffy white whatsits to be honest).

Not even going to stick my head out tonight.

Actually think clouds only started to appear when I started this hobby! Makes the clear sky nights spectacular though

Was able to get out the following night though. Hoping to get a clear night as in to capture the waxing crescent before it's a full moon again!
