Backyard EOS v Eyeball?

Hi

How much do you believe FWHM values in backyard EOS compared to "eyeball"  live view on the back of the DSLR camera? 

I seemed to have lower FWHM values on DSLR live view compared to backyard EOS, or am i missing a trick again?

Eyeball live view screen every time for me, cant be bettered in my opinion.

Eyeball for me too. I recently bought a Bahtinov mask too and am not convinced that's any better than eyeball either.

Eyeball works great right up until you use something like a UHC or H-A filter and the star is too dim to allow the technique.

Cheers Adam, not going down that route at the moment. Maybe one day. Eyeballing seems to give "rounder" tighter stars then Backyard EOS

Hi, I use BYEOS for imaging with my Canon 600D and much prefer using the Mk 1 eyeball and taking my time in Live View.
