M31 Core and M15 from last night

Great night to be out, very nice dark clear skies, and even the Moon looked fantastic.

Here's two from last night. The Core of M31 and M15. Was going to do all of M31, but the Moon kind of started washing it all out, so moved to M15. Astronomik CLS filter used

Ed80 at F7.5/Guided by ST102 on the EQ6

Taken with the 314L

No darks/flats or any calibration though.

Images just in mono, resized to 67% original size

The M31 core shows many of the globular cluster regions which Robert Gendler's legendary "labelled" M31 shows.

That was nice to see come in.

Have a lot of Solar images still to process, was tracking and imaging a prom evolving over several hours yesterday, and a few surface images to composite up.

Thank you everyone..

I did a big M31 last year, same scale using the ART285, first in mono, and then colour after a few nights (a few nights of clear sky...miracle ...lol.)

Here's the fruits of that one in mono, gives you some idea of the work required to get the whole thing at this scale
