"The Eagle has landed"

This film tells the story of the historic first landing of men on the Moon in July, 1969. It depicts the principal highlight events of the mission from launching through post-recovery activities of Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins. Through television, motion picture and still photography, the film provides an "eye-witness" perspective of the Apollo 11 mission

I remember watching it the first time round on a 14" BW tv....Great stuff :shock:

I do too I was about 13 years old sat with my father with mother hovering around muttering its not real they have done it all with mirrors and she meant it she would not believe the event was actualy being played out in front of our very eyes yes certainly one of the better days of my life that was
