Delicate Prom Tendril 5/11/17

It's a sunny morning here, so straight out with the LS50 while getting the kids their brekkie.

Ok, so the sun is not the most active at the moment, but there's a rather beautifully delicate tendril of a prom loop - I could best see it double stacked - it nicely darkened the sky around the limb adding contrast, and blocking out ambient light was a must of course too.  Here's a pic from the good folk on GONG, with the loop drawn in on the RHS:

I really love the DS - beautiful detail on the disc with some fine filaments, even when there is not high activity.  I'm glad to see that proms are also showing really well with the DS.

Just had a peek again - quite changed: the prom off the limb nearest the filaprom near 9 o'clock has detached into a tight horseshoe loop itself, it seems to me.
