Minor crater letters are placed between the carter and the main crater with the same name. Tobias Mayer is 'lost' in the dark just to the west of Tobias Mayer A.

Using the crater Stadius as a guide, which has a diameter of 69km, the pixel scale of this image is 400 metres.
