Binoviewer

I think Peter is referring to EPs with a long focal length, i.e. 25-30mm and more.

I use 25mm EPs in my Lunt/bino setup, where I have to use a 2x nosepiece or 2.5x Powermate to achieve focus. Previously, as Peter suggests, I used the lens unscrewed from a Barlow and screwed onto the binoviewer. The higher focal length EPs help to compensate for the inevitable increase in magnification.

Hope that helps.
