NGC 6888

[Parallax]

After what seems like an eternity, I managed to get some imaging done last night. The moon was doing her utmost to light up the sky, but at least there were no clouds. This was my first go at the Crescent (you can tell by the framing) but I'm fairly happy with the result. I've added an Ha filter to my wish list.

Explorer 200 @f5, Atik16 ic-s, 16x180s, guided with ST80 + PHD, DSS, PS2CS.

Considering you were working without the very Item that would have helped you so much, that is a great result.

So well done Steve, I hope you get yourself the Ha filter soon. They are not cheap these things.
