Veil Nebula in Cygnus Modded 350D

Heres my main target from this morning - The Veil Nebula in Cygnus in Widefield.

35x360s @ ISO800 Modded Canon 350D (filter removed) Skywatcher Equinoxe-66 Pro with William Optics FF III & Hutech IDAS P2. Guided on CPC800XLT @ F6.3 with DSI IIC using PHDGuide.

Stacked in DSS Post Processing in CS3 with GradientXTerminator / Noels Astro Actions and various other plugins

35 Lights 10 darks (300s from library 360s being captured at the moment) 10 bias no flats (and it needs some )

Hi! Great shot! The area does lend itself to wide field photography doesn't it? You've got a nice big stack there as well. 3,5 hours at a target is quite a bit! It will probably be worth the investment to add flats to the project!

Got some flats to add to this will work on it Sunday depending on Saturday/sunday mornings data finding I will have to re-think my IP workflow now I get reasonably flat frames out of DSS...

Thanks Kev,

I think the 350D with the stock Filter removed and the "external" Hutech IDAS Filter are workign really well together as the IDAS is not only a great LP filter but has UV/IR cut as well
