Secondary mirror problems - help please.

Hi All

Nexstar 130 SLT. Have issues with the secondary alignment.

Was out a couple of days ago and my son tripped over the telescope (he's ok - nos so the scope).

Seemed to knock the secondary mirror out of alignment.

I've used Sharpcap & Als collimation aid to get it back to where i think it should be.

Does the image look OK or is it out of alignment?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Looks pretty good to me. I don't think you will get much closer without a star test.

Hi all

I Noticed the the secondary mirror vanes were not holding the mirror holder centrally, so I adjusted that as I couldn't see all the primary clips in the focusser via the secondary.

 

Thats seems to have improved things somewhat.

 

Ive taken another couple of pics - 1 using the cheshire/site tube & 1 with the coll cap.

 

Would any of you mind having a look and see if it looks better & in laymans terms, explaining what is wrong - e.g secondary needs moving forward/backward, etc?
