M13 - Hercules Globular Cluster

Hi All,

Semi decent nights on the 12th and 13th after such a long time. Hurriedly grabbed this on the 12th before the moon rose over apartment block.

C9.25 and modded Canon 350D

19 subs of 20 seconds each at ISO 800.

Levels, Curves in PS. Applied Focusmagic as suggested by NoelC. It made a big difference, thanks! I just can't get rid of the green specks. Its probably from the CLS EOS Clip filter.

Hi. Vincent,

I like your M13 Image, it is a great effort.

I hope you don't mind me dabbling with it a little to de green it. I think the image itself is more or less the same, just a colour change.

For a quick fix of the 'green' problem use the Hue/Saturation tool in PS. Just open the green channel and move the slider over to the left. Indeed try playing with all the channels till you find a combination you like.

Thanks for the processing guys! Much appreciated. Apart from Colour Balance, Hue/Sat is there any other way to remove the green specks? What technique did you use Mark?
