Just bagged myself a 6" f/5 newt on EQ mount for £20, I couldn't resist! One tidy-enough Event Horizon 750/150. I knew what I was buying... another EQ mount.   I thought the tube was flocked for a minute... it's just dust.

The tube could probably take a new mirror at some point, but it'll get some use... interesting to see what pics I can get from a 50p webcam in a £20 6" scope   I've got an RA drive motor somewhere...

Lots of little issues to address - mirrors, focuser, mount, tripod...

Finder and tube rings seem ok as-is.

Nice little project - well worth £20 for entertainment value alone - you could spend that on a single round in the pub lol.

You can't complain for £20. I once bagged myself a still boxed Helios 90mm evostar with EQ3 off ebay for £20. There are deals out there to be had that's for sure.
