Taken with my P520D Bridge in manual mode, 1/25000 @ iso 80 ,some with a polariser to control th1 highlights.

I was just about to post about it! Here in Oxfordshire it is extremely orange, more like a setting sun than one around mid-day! I guess Ophelia is stirring up the particles.

I went for a run at lunchtime under a dark foreboding sky. Then I noticed that there orange sun just peeking through a thin (but still dark!) patch of cloud. Very, very eerie indeed. Only ever seen the likes of that in the Canaries during a Calima.

There is some dust on my windscreen but not much. There hasn't been enough rain to wash it out of the atmosphere.
