Last nights full moon

Taken last night, really just testing equipment and camera cooling for deep space but it was such a nice full moon and clear sky, shame not to. 40 images stacked in registrax and colour/temp adjusted in Lightroom. 

10" f4 with cooled 1000d (-1c) on NEQ6.

Nice picture! But the image appears purple on my screen? Is that a mistake or was it on purpose?

Now you say it! I was doing final edit on an iPad, probably not the best idea. Will tweak white balance when I get back home??

Nice Image!

I believe this would be considered an "enhanced color" moon image. True color is difficult to say and depends upon too many factors.

The colors are there certainly, washed out by the bright sunlight, and the enhancing of colors is legit under the circumstances. It clearly reveals much that you could not otherwise see and is therefore quite useful!

One of the nicest images of the moon I've seen recently!
