Clouds across the Moon

Recommended Posts

My first Lunar challenge entry, as the clouds just won't go away I decided to try and use them to my advantage.

A single shot with a Canon 1300d & 135mm lens, ISO 1600 1/15 exposure.

A light polish with Digital photo pro.

You've made the clouds work with you Nigel. Looks almost as though a planet has formed from Cosmic dust.
The star Illuminating it can't be seen of course.
This Challenge calls for use of ones Imagination, so That's how I see this. Might sound crazy, but I do like science fiction.
I think this works quite well :icon_biggrin:.

Thanks for your comments :)

@barkis I know what you mean, I was thinking somewhere along those lines when taking the shots, it looked almost like special effects going on, Could of been the glass of whisky though :)

I took about 20 photo's, a couple of others had an equally dramatic cloud formation but all had the colourful refracted light.

Cheer's

Nige.

Well, I'm away for a break in Fleetwood Lancs. with the Wife for a few days, and I too have a friendly bottle of Whisky, although I
Hadn't sipped a drop when I  was reflecting on your Image. The description I applied to it was absolutely without alcoholic influence.
What I described was psychedelic apparition that required no   effort to construct.  I think maybe the subtle colouring may have triggered it all.
I've since rendered my bottle half empty by the way :D.
